Collets are made of spring steel to sustain the repeated compression and expansion action. These are machined as per design and then subjected to heat-treatment suitable for spring steels. Collets are further grinded to suit the outer or inner housing. Slitting is done as the last operation using coolant profusely not allowing the collets to lose its spring action due to over heating during slitting. Our customers are highly satisfied by the dimensional accuracy and longevity shown by collets.
FLANGES:
Flanges are manufactured using various materials as specified by our esteemed customers. These are hardened or kept soft as desired. Flanges are used to connect two end pieces of any shaft, or these are used to couple two mechanical parts. Concentricity of bore with outer diameter is maintained.
SCREW BOLTS:
These are manufactured on good quality machines. Thread (internal/external) are provided using appropriate tooling. To ascertain correctness of threads RING or PLUG GAUGES are employed in process. Care is taken so that the concentricity, of the component body with respect to threads, is not disturbed while further operations (such as grinding, milling etc.) are carried out. Correct profile of threads results in long life of the manufactured component and it also does not damage the part on which it is used.
